The Kalmandvi Waterfall is a hidden gem located in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India. It is a 100-meter cascading waterfall that is surrounded by lush greenery and rocky terrain. The waterfall is a popular spot for trekking, rock climbing, and rappelling. It is also known for flowing throughout the year, even during the dry season. [Image of Kalmandvi waterfall, Maharashtra] The Kalmandvi Waterfall is located about 8 kilometers south of Jawhar town in the Palghar district. The waterfall can be reached by a short trek through the forest. The trek is moderately difficult, but the views of the waterfall are worth the effort. Once you reach the waterfall, you can take a refreshing dip in the pool at the bottom. The water is cool and refreshing, especially on a hot day. You can also relax on the rocks and enjoy the sound of the cascading water. If you are looking for a more adventurous activity, you can try rock climbing or rappelling down the side of the waterfall. There are several companies that offer guided tours and equipment rentals. The Kalmandvi Waterfall is a beautiful place to visit any time of year. However, the best time to visit is during the monsoon season (June to September) when the waterfall is at its most powerful.
