It's not just any fort, it's said to be the birthplace of the mighty monkey god Hanuman himself! According to Hindu mythology, Hanuman's mother, Anjana, resided here. The fort's name even comes from her - Anjaneri! This place is extra special because it's the only one in the world with a temple dedicated to Anjana Mata. It's a truly unique place steeped in history and mythology. The village of Anjaneri is just a short walk away from the fort, and you can even see two interesting pinnacles called 'Navara' and 'Navari' from there. โ›ฐ๏ธ If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend checking out Anjaneri Fort. It's a beautiful and fascinating place with a story unlike any other.
